Bartholomew has a B.S. from Castleton University with a concentration in Journalism. At Castleton he studied under Dr. Warren L. Cook. They worked together to established a database of Northeastern Sasquatch encounters. Bartholomew is the author of “Bigfoot Encounters in New York & New England (2008, Hancock House). In 2004, Bartholomew wrote and lobbied for legislation that was passed proclaiming Whitehall, New York to be a protective habitat for Sasquatch. After more than forty years of research, Bartholomew has appeared in various documentaries including “Mysterious Encounters,” “Monster Quest,” “America’s Book of Secrets” and “Finding Bigfoot.” Bartholomew has established a consistent history of Bigfoot reports from traditional stories of “Stone Giants” and the “Windigo,” to “Wildman” accounts of the 1800’a and highly credible encounters of today. Bartholomew notes similarities between various phenomena and continues to study all aspects of the paranormal.
Bigfoot Investigator and Author
Doug Waller has been fascinated with the legend of Bigfoot for over thirty years. In 2006 he began seriously researching sightings of Bigfoot in his home state of Ohio, with particular interest in southeastern Ohio, where he lives. Due to his intense interest in the subject he began meeting many eyewitnesses and in 2008 formed his Bigfoot group the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigation. The main focus of the group is to provide a safe venue for Bigfoot eyewitnesses to come together to share their encounters and experiences without fear of ridicule.
In 2012 Mr. Waller began receiving invitations to give Bigfoot presentations at libraries, to civic groups and various other organizations. In doing so, he continued meeting large numbers of eyewitnesses and realized that their stories needed to be preserved. He made it his mission to record their stories for posterity. He began interviewing witnesses and compiling their accounts which led to his series of books Standing in the Shadows (2013), Hidden Encounters (2015), Screams in the Night (2017), and Bigfoot Reports (2018). He is currently interviewing witnesses and collecting their stories for a fifth installment in his series. Doug Waller continues to research the mystery of Bigfoot in cooperation with other investigators and eyewitnesses. He hopes to continue speaking at Bigfoot events and meeting new eyewitnesses and amateur researchers and working with them to solve the mystery of Bigfoot.

Peter Wiemer’s interest in Bigfoot began 25 years ago when one of his friends, Larry Battson, released a series of cassette tapes regarding his experience and research in the Bigfoot area. In 2011 Peter approached Larry to assist him in bringing a Bigfoot Conference to Chautauqua Lake. The first annual Chautauqua Lake Bigfoot (CLBF) Expo took place on May 6th, 2012. This event brought in national Bigfoot speakers from around the country to talk about their knowledge and experience with Bigfoots. Since creating the CLBF Expo, Peter is up to 41 eyewitnesses from Chautauqua County, eight from Cattaraugus County and more then a dozen from Warren County, PA who have contacted him resolving themselves in knowing they have seen a Bigfoot but were afraid to admit it publicly for fear of ridicule. Peter, Joseph Glarner and Mark Robinault wrote, directed and produced a documentary movie called I’ve Seen Bigfoot, a movie about Bigfoot eyewitnesses from Chautauqua & Cattaraugus Counties, NY, Warren County, PA and across the USA and was brought to iTunes and Amazon in 2017 for $ 4.99 and Free on Amazon Prime. Peter’s other video projects include Milt the Talking Musky. Milt the Talking Musky is a benefit to Children with Autism and is a read and sing along karaoke kind of song in a mesmerizing underwater aquarium scene. In 2008, one of Peters employees showed Milt to some children she was tutoring outside of work including two twin six-year-old Autistic boys and for the first time ever, one of the boys attempted speech after watching Milt. Peter then created The iKidsFishing Show in 2008 which is a children’s fishing show starring kids teaching kids and you how to catch fish. Milt & iKidsFishing are available on iTunes & Amazon for $2.99.
The first documented sighting of a Bigfoot in the USA was in 1818 in a newspaper article from Sackets Harbor, New York. They were seen on the East coast long before the West coast because the East coast was settled first.
